Designer Implementers are good at creating new ways of tackling old problems. They also like to make sure they see the tangible results of their ideas. Almost without exception, they feel better if they can see concrete feedback that tells them what type of job they have done on any given day. They rarely gravitate toward ambiguous work that cannot be measured with specific results. Designer Implementers are generally easy going with people and work well on a team. At times they can be too picky about details, but this can also be their strength.
They influence others through doing a job right. If you give them work to do, they may try to figure out a better way to do it, but they also like to make sure it gets done. They also influence others through quality work with a creative angle. They are direct but friendly. Under pressure, they may become too perfectionistic or try to take over and do it their own way without consulting others adequately. They usually function best as a key player in the accomplishment of a general vision.
